Join us as the Arizona Aviculture Society presents 'Parrot First Aid and Proper Emergency Handling' with guest speaker Annaleza Crowley.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you weren't sure how to quickly and safely handle your bird during a dire emergency? Birds can sometimes get trapped in their own toys, injure themselves, or face risks like fires. Learn all about proper bird body mechanics and handling techniques that can be crucial in immediate and high-emotion situations. We will also discuss first aid kit options and the essential supplies every bird owner should always have on hand.

Annaleza has been a professional bird groomer and avian specialist in the Phoenix Valley for around 13 years. Her journey with birds began 29 years ago when she started working with them as a child. Specializing in feral flocks and challenging large parrots, she brings a wealth of experience. As a dedicated bird owner herself throughout these years, she eagerly anticipates sharing professional tips and tricks of the trade with the club and guests — valuable information that no bird owner should be without!
